SCIF - Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
Portable, rapidly deployable Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities — engineered for secure intelligence operations wherever you need them. RF shielded, acoustically insulated, and fully compliant with the most stringent security standards.
What is a SCIF?
A Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) is a specially accredited, secure workspace designed for the handling, processing, and analysis of classified and sensitive intelligence. Built to prevent electronic surveillance, electromagnetic espionage, and acoustic interception, SCIFs ensure that critical information remains completely protected from external threats.
Our containerised SCIF solutions offer all the security of a permanent facility in a transportable, rapidly deployable format — available in configurations including 40ft units — making them ideal for forward-deployed operations, temporary command posts, and secure on-site intelligence environments where time and security cannot be compromised.

Why SCIFs Fail
01
Compromised RF Shielding
A SCIF is only as secure as its electromagnetic envelope. Poor installation, gaps in shielding material, substandard penetration sealing around cables and conduits, or the use of uncertified materials creates vulnerabilities that hostile signals intelligence can exploit. A SCIF that leaks RF is not a SCIF — it is a monitored room.
02
Acoustic Vulnerabilities
Electronic security means nothing if conversations can be heard through walls, floors, or ventilation systems. Inadequate acoustic insulation, poorly designed air handling, and vibration transmission through structural elements are among the most common and most exploited SCIF failures — particularly in retrofit installations where the host building was never designed for classified operations.
03
Non-Compliant Construction & Accreditation Failure
A SCIF built without adherence to the applicable accreditation standards — whether ICD 705, NATO, or national equivalents — will fail the accreditation process entirely, rendering the facility unusable for its intended purpose. This typically results from using uncertified contractors, cutting corners on materials, or failing to engage the accrediting authority early enough in the design process.

How it works & what to expect
STEP 01 — Threat Assessment & Accreditation Planning
Every SCIF deployment begins with a detailed threat assessment and early engagement with the relevant accrediting authority. We define the classification level, identify the applicable standards, assess the physical environment for RF and acoustic risks, and produce a compliance roadmap before any design work begins. Getting accreditation requirements right at the start prevents costly redesign and delays later.
STEP 02 — Design, Specification & Fabrication
We produce a full SCIF specification covering RF shielding, acoustic insulation, access control, power filtering, ventilation design, and IT infrastructure. For containerised deployments, fabrication takes place under controlled factory conditions to certified standards — ensuring every element meets accreditation requirements before the unit leaves the facility. Fixed installations are designed and documented to the same standard with full material certification.
STEP 03 — Installation, Testing & Accreditation Support
Our certified installation team deploys the SCIF on site, completing all penetration sealing, systems integration, and final hardening. We conduct RF attenuation testing, acoustic performance verification, and full systems commissioning before submitting for accreditation. We support you through the entire accreditation process — from documentation to site inspection — until the facility receives its formal approval to operate.
Planning a SCIF Deployment?
Whether you require a permanent installation or a rapidly deployable field unit, our team provides full end-to-end consultancy — from threat assessment and site evaluation to specification, delivery, and accreditation support. Every SCIF solution is configured to your exact operational requirements and security classification needs.
